Eh, how come like no leaders blogging in this blog uh? It's like so dead! Where has my leaders gone to huh? FONG? SHIKIN? RENA?
Okayokay, how's everyone? Hasn't been seeing you girls around recently because i'm not down at the canteen and due to the h1n1 flu. Heard that Guides is the Guard of Honour this year? And Jia Min is the Parade Commander. Gosh, truly proud and delighted to hear that. It'a a great news to the ex-leaders! You girls are resuming CCA today right? March hard okay. Don't give the leaders too much problems because you girls are left with less than 3 weeks of practices?! Try to accomdomate to the leaders and don't pressure them too much because they are facing tons of pressure and stress from academic and also marching! Be nice and be sweet. Perhaps i will pop by the next marching date okay? I can't wait to see my girls marching down proudly on 7th August! Do me proud and i love you girls always!

The last session, our girls did cards making, initiated by the teachers and we'll be selling them at our annual Innovation Day. Cool isn't it?

For the first time in my 4 years in Guiding
For the first time in my position,
I was so impressed with my newly joined secondary ones. they showed me the positive attitude in attending all sessions and i felt proud to be their leader. I can feel the respect and the positive attitude in them during marching. They tried their best and marched smartly despite their 2nd try only.

But, i start to worry for my secondary threes. Soon, in weeks time, they will take over our position. I worry how are they going to handle the whole squad. My fears are there, sharifah's too. We knew the secondary threes' well and their character. Up till today, they show no independence and i feel the pressure if i hand any task to them.

My dear secondary threes, im not blaming you. But look at your attitude and attendance. Compare your marching with the sec1s. Dont give me stupid excuses like they got more people than you. ITS NOT ABOUT THE QUANTITY BUT THE QUALITY. Reflect.

Selamat Hari Raya to all muslims guides!

Hey there girls, Carel here!
As seen, i've changed the blogskin. I'll find one day after the exams and we'll take a group photo with the teachers yeah. The song i uploaded is a Universal Girl Guide song. I've no idea what you girls like so if you've any songs in mind, do let me know yeah and i'll upload it up! And also, if i missed out your birthday, please leave a tag and let me know alright! :D

Firstly, as the EOYs have already started, Sharifah and I would like to wish all of you girls the best of lucks!
Secondly, we might be planning a december camp for you girl. Its not confirmed yet.
Thirdly, Sharifah and I have come up with plans on our initiatives for the PNA award, and we seek all cooperation of you girls. We'll let you know our plans after the exams.

We'll hold a meeting after the exams and i hope all of you will come. The day is yet to be confirmed. Do stay tuned for more updates and look out for notices on the Guides notice board.

Heyhey! Carel here. Sorry for not blogging this few weeks as we are all exhausted by NDP marching. Loyang's Speech Day and Commendation Day is round the corner. Go on girls, you can do it!

HELLOOO! Carel here. Guides was awesome yesterday. Our girls were not late for meeting and I'm very proud of that. Go on girls! The teachers had a little conversation with them and we proceed with marching. We had 30 present and the contigent was simply BEUAUTIFUL! And I'm happy to see that the sec1s are putting in effort to get the hang of maching. It may be hard at the beginning but it will soon be easy once you get the hang of it. Then it was games and they all had fun sweating it out. It's indeed a great bonding time. I'm also pleased when they showed enthusiasm in playing. Shikin was injured in the process, hope she's better now. After games was dismissal. All girls went home except for the 15 NDP girls. Then it was bubble tea time as usual and all went home for the day.

Guides Camp

A big HELLOOOO out there to all the readers reading this blog. CAREL here. It's been ages since i last blog, sorry about that.
Well oh well, life has been fine for everyone yeah!

For your information, we had our Guides Camp on 2nd June to 4th June. I should declare it a success (?) But Sharifah and I are rather disappointed with the turn out. I myself expected everyone to turn up but since things ended up like that, I can only accept the fact. Well, humans do make mistakes too. I hope everyone enjoyed the camp because Sharifah and I really cracked our brains and lost our beauty sleep just for this camp.

A few updates too, some girls went to help out in the recent Guides Walkaton on Saturday, 21st June. I'm indeed proud to have such excellent girls! This is the best gift from heaven to me. I'm very happy to be with you girls!

As time pass, NDP is nearing too. And i hope you girls will get down to serious business and march well. Do me proud yeah because i know you girls can do it. Believe you can and you can because you girls are GIRL GUIDES, CAREL'S GIRLS! Go and do me proud, i trust you girls. You co-operation is also much appreciated because it's the crucial period now. Sharifah and I may be harsh when it's needed but please bear with us because we understand the pain of standing under the hot sun, we've been through it before too. So please don't give us problems and we will certainly make marching much more fun and creative for you girls. I promise that i'll treat you girls after NDP marching is over but in the mean time, i just hope you girls won't find me a nag and co-operate with me. You know something? You girls have always been that great so just keep it up! And please don't be sad or angry because Guiding never teach us to be moody. Cheer up. If you're unhappy with someone, it'll be good if you can tell me. Share it with someone and you'll feel much more better i assure. If you don't mind, I'M A GREAT LISTENNER!
Once again, thanks for being such great girls. Truly appreciated!

sharifah here. first time blogging in guides blog. hehe:)

I hope the guides enjoyed the guides camp that carel and i planned for a very very long time. stressful noe! anyways i hope that the camp had make you guys more bonded and know your seniors and juniors very well. To those who missed out on the camp, you have missed a very good opportunity to know your guide sister better. Im also sorry for not being there for the whole camp and keep dissapearing during the day. Thanks carel for taking charge of the camp and the guides. I love you! I hope the camp was enjoyable for you girls as it was for me. The sleeping arrangement and campfire was ...interesting. First time sleeping in the canteen and a candle campfire. too much sweet moments to write out. guess it will just be a secret between us..shh...

enough about the all so great guides camp..*cough cough* i heard that!

NDP coming up and im sure you guys know that its gona be tough. i know you girls can do it, just pesever! if everybody tries their best, i will be very happy. But lazyness is NOT tolerated. Just motivate each other and it will be a fun experience. All eyes are on you guys, silver awardees! Show them what you can do and make them look up to us. Go giudes! keep the guiding light shine bright!

Guide BBQ was great isnt it? Poeple came but you girls went home so early. We should thank Carel for taking the time out to buy all those ingredients and called you guy ONE BY ONE just to ask whether you are going to the BBQ. THANKS CAREL!

Guides Camp just ended not long ago too. I hope you girls out there still enjoy the camp even though the number of people was veryvery less. The MacRitchie Tree Top Walk and Amazing Race, and also campfire was done is a more unique way right?

And we should thank the teachers, Carel and Sharifah for preparing the camp. Secondary fours have stepped down and we have our new CL and ACL !!!! which is SHARIFAH AND CAREL! ;] And WELCOME ALL SECONDARY ONES TO THE GUIDING FAMILY!!

NDP/ Commendation Day is coming! After the holidays will be thorough training for everyone because we must show other CCAs that WE CAN DO IT! so what we are all girls cca? We can even break the tug of war rope, we still can do more!

Lets keep up the Guiding Spirit and be united! I know some of you guys may have conflicts with each other and stuff but ?HELLO? we are in a family. We accept and forgive all those wrongs that people do. No one's perfect right?

We have to be bond together to show other CCAs that WE CAN. and not people who are scattering around not united. ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE! Leaders will be strict on us and WE HAVE TO accept is because its time for us to get SERIOUS!

If to you Guides is boring, Guides is nothing and Guides have nothing to do. YOU ARE TOTALLY WRONG! Fun is made by everyone. Be apart and you'll enjoy. We can do alot of thing if you co-operate. Once we get all those important things done, we can play or joke around.

Guides is a uniform group. Somehow we have to input discipline and order in Guides. If not it will look really messy and people will look down on us. and people will be say " eh you girl guide uh? *laughs*" "guides sucks!" and stuff. We cant do anything about it.

Before that we're still a nobody. Now we are a Uniform Group which have a SILVER award. We must show people that we are really from a SILVER award uniform group and not a named silver award group.

Ohkay. I've done talking all those things. People will think that " yahh lahhs we know" or "talk so much for what? who do you thing you are?" and stuff. but i dont care. Atleast i know i've done my part for saying those things and will not regret if i never tell you guys.
